I knew John from my first squadron, VAW-121. He always watched out for the newbie Ensigns and was fantastic to work with as the AMO. Later in my NAVAIR career in PMA-231 as ASPO, Class Desk, and Deputy PM it was great to work with John for many years when he was a support contractor to us. One of the best guys ever!
