Our dear husband, father and friend, Mike 'Gooch" Bordeaux, 58, died recently in Taos, NM Mike was a Lt. Cmdr. Ret. From the Naval Reserves having previously served 6 years in the USMC. While serving in the military, he was an E-2 pilot, retiring in 1989. Before becoming a commercial airline pilot, he flew for NW Pipeline, the Williams Co. and a personal pilot for the Funk family. Mike loved and adored his wife, Marcy, daughter, Julia and man's best friend, Joe. His passions were flying, golf, & bicycling. He was a 13 year friend of Bill W.'s and a member of the A-Refuge group. Having flown in many parts of the world, Mike had friends all over the U.S. that will miss his humor and smile. Mike is survived by his wife of 30 yrs, Marcy; daughter, Julia Havelick of Denver, Co.; sister Lynda Wilson of Salt Lake City, UT and brother, Peter Bordeaux, Wendover, NV. Our pain may diminish over time but our love and tremendous joy of knowing him will endure. Memorial services will be Fri. Dec. 30th, 2:00pm @ The Western Club; 5207 N. Western, OKC, OK 73118.
