The mission of the VAW/VRC Foundation is to educate the public on the VAW/VRC Community’s rich history, honor those that have flown, maintained and supported the Community, and inspire future generations to sustain the Community’s legacy of excellence. Currently, the VAW/VRC Foundation achieves this mission by maintaining VAW/VRC Ready Room 4 on the museum ship USS Midway, the VAW/VRC Foundation website, a Community contact and historical database and by coordinating and hosting Community events including the Hawkeye Greyhound Symposium, West and East Coast Hawkeye Greyhound Balls, Community Reunions and the VAW/VRC hospitality suite and Community brunch at the annual Tailhook Convention. Your tax deductible membership provide the resources that enable the VAW/VRC Foundation to achieve its mission.
