Michael Lee Lossick, USN (Retired) (December 2017)

Michael Lee Lossick, age 78, a 14-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

Mike served in VAW-11/VAW- 111 supporting and flying as aircrew in E-1B Willy Fudds for 20+ years. Story goes that Mike was also the only Aviation Electrician’s Mate (AE) who flew as a flight tech in the E-2B Hawkeye. Mike retired as an Aviation Electricians Mate First Class. He then spent 15-20 years with Grumman as a Tech Representative, managing Commander Airborne E naval Early Warning Wing Pacific transition to Point Mugu, California as the Northrop Grumman Area Manager.

Michael is survived by his wife Sherry Carrasco; two daughters; one grandson; six step-children; four step-grandchildren; and one sister and one brother in Ohio.

Mike was my supervisor at RVAW-110, North Island. People I remember there were VK Booth. He too was AE-1. Had a guy in the shop that was able to carry 100 lbs generators in one hand. I believe his last name was Litch.
