CAPT Timothy "TJ" Block, USN (Retired) (November 2015)

CAPT Timothy "TJ" Block passed from this life on November 26, 2015. Tim was born to Raymond and Rosemary Block on October 15, 2015 in Minden City, MI. Tim or "TJ" as he was known in the Navy served his country in the US Navy for 36 years, including command of VAW-121.
Preceded in death by his parents, TJ leaves behind a life full of memories to be cherished by his wife of 36 year Patricia Block and three children; Jennah Coltrain and husband Michael of HI, Cady Block PhD of TX, and Jasen Block and wife Brittany of GA. TJ leaves three brothers; Roger Block and wife Janet of VT, Paul Block and wife Dianne of NC and Les Block of NC, and two sisters; Lynn McMillian and husband Reggie of NC and Barbara Swan and husband Chris of VA.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on December 5, 2015 at 1:00 in the afternoon in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West, burial will follow with full military honors in Forest Lawn West Cemetery, the family will receive friends one hour prior.
