He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for 30 years. He was a member of the VAW community and also served as a Naval and Military Attache. Stan enjoyed a post-retirement career as a financial advisor. Stan delighted in his lifelong passions of fishing, tennis, and golf.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Project Healing Waters (www.projecthealingwaters.org or PHWFF, PO Box 695, La Plata, MD 20646), in honor of Capt. John Stanley Baldwin, USN. Project Healing Waters is an organization dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.

Alternatively, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, 455 Sherman Street, Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203 (www.alz.org).

The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the caregivers of Assured Assisted Living and Suncrest Hospice for their compassionate support in Stan's final days.
