All of us are, or were during our careers planners of one sort or another - whether it was planning for a single flight or supporting an operational commander's plan development. By and large, however, and studies nationwide across most groups support this, we have carried out little, if any, planning for our end-of-life stage. The reasons vary but for most, it is a question of where to begin beyond ensuring a Last Will and Testament is in place. There are a myriad of details to be addressed post-death and helping our survivors navigate the administrative details should be our goal. Passwords, obituaries, details of funeral/life celebrations services, and the like can be established now and help immeasurably later. To this end, the VAWVRC Foundation would like to help by providing a document that serves as a starting point for addressing these and other issues. Note that this is for educational purposes only - for financial, legal and/or medical questions and advice you must consult with professionals experienced in those fields. The document provided below should help you in discussing your concerns and desires with those professionals. The Foundation also does not endorse nor advertise for any one organization in providing this document for your use. If in your use you find there are areas that can be improved or added based on your experience, feel free to contact me via email. - Will Dossel [email protected]
